On a catamaran cruise, some of the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean can only be discovered by sea. Between secluded anchorages, turquoise lagoons, and unspoiled coves, a cabin cruise or a private charter allows you to access landscapes that remain pristine, far from the crowds and typical tourism.
Sailing between southern Corsica and northern Sardinia means exploring one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the Mediterranean. Sometimes, the roads end… and the most beautiful places begin.
Between idyllic coves, turquoise waters, and unspoiled landscapes, here are 5 must-see anchorages that we particularly love to share with our passengers during our catamaran cruises.
(And a few others that we’re still keeping under wraps… and that we’ll have the pleasure of introducing to you during a cabin cruise or a private charter on our Évasion catamaran.)
1. 🌊 Balistra – Raw Beauty
Located northeast of Bonifacio, Balistra Bay is a truly unique place. Framed by cliffs and opening onto a wild beach, it boasts striking turquoise waters.
👉 It’s often here that the magic happens for the first time: silence, the vast lagoon, a feeling of being at the ends of the earth.

2. 🐠 Villata – Gentleness and Marine Life
Further north, the small bay of Villata offers a completely different atmosphere. This sheltered cove is captivating thanks to its shallow waters, spectacular views of the Bavella Needles, and its famous Genoese tower. Snorkeling enthusiasts can even spot small stingrays in the crystal-clear water.
👉 An ideal anchorage for relaxing during a catamaran cruise in Corsica.
3. 💎 Budelli Pool – an unreal lagoon
Head to Sardinia, to the La Maddalena archipelago. The famous “Piscina” of Budelli lives up to its name: translucent, shallow water with incredible shades of blue.
👉 An almost surreal setting, worthy of the most beautiful tropical lagoons, accessible during your cruise in Corsica and Sardinia.
4. 🌿 Les îles Lavezzi – the Corsican jewel
It’s impossible not to mention the Lavezzi Islands. This iconic archipelago in southern Corsica boasts unspoiled nature: granite rocks sculpted by the wind, crystal-clear waters, and almost lunar landscapes. While very popular with tourists during the day, we’ll help you appreciate it without the daily crowds.
👉 A must-see on a Mediterranean cabin cruise.

5. 🪨 Marmurata – the Sardinian Lavezzi Islands
Less well-known than its Corsican neighbors (the Lavezzi Islands), Marmurata is a true gem located on the Sardinian coast. Wind-sculpted rocks, crystalline water, and a wild atmosphere: many call it “the little Lavezzi Islands”… a more secluded version.
👉 A more discreet anchorage, perfect for fully enjoying the calm and beauty of the Mediterranean.
🤫 The Captain’s Secret Anchorages
Because some places deserve to be preserved, we keep a few “captain’s secret” anchorages that we only reveal to our passengers.
👉 Little corners of paradise accessible only on a catamaran cruise, far from the crowds and the usual routes.

🌅 A Different Way to Discover the Mediterranean
These anchorages aren’t just beautiful places. They are, above all, experiences:
• a sunrise at anchor,
• dinner overlooking the sea,
• a swim in crystal-clear water,
• an evening under the stars in the heart of a secluded cove.
Between Corsica and Sardinia, each port of call tells a story. And the best way to discover them is undoubtedly this: take your time, sail, and let yourself be surprised.
