A couple in the wind

We are a married couple passionate about sailing: Pierrick, a general manager of a Finnish subsidiary in the packaging industry, and Mylène, an agricultural and environmental engineer at the Ministry of Agriculture and later Ecology. In 2021, we decided to shift our professional focus to live out our shared passion for sailing. Whether aboard sailboats or catamarans, for simple outings or multi-day cruises, we aim to share and introduce this experience to vacationers—whether seasoned sailors or first-timers.

It took us three years to build Croisière Evasion. We carefully examined every hypothesis, chose our catamaran (more stable for cruising), designed our concept, obtained the necessary certifications, identified our partners, and confirmed financial viability. Balancing full-time jobs during this period, finalizing the project took time. The first official cruises will set sail in 2025, heading towards Hyères, then Corsica and Sardinia!

Caribbean and Mediterranean: a wealth of sailing experience

For many years, our summer vacations have been spent sailing with friends on catamarans in various parts of the world.

The ideal destinations for dreamy cruises with postcard-worthy scenery lie in the Mediterranean basin: the South of France with Port-Cros, Porquerolles, Les Embiez, Corsica—the Island of Beauty—and its Italian neighbor, Sardinia.

Further afield, the Bay of Naples, the Balearic Islands, Croatia, or Greece offer perfect vacation spots for sunny cruises with friends or family. Across the Atlantic, the Caribbean islands (Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Grenadines) are also incredible destinations for catamaran cruises during the holidays.

Pierrick has extensive catamaran sailing experience, gained over the years during numerous cruises with friends. His early sailing experiences include learning through racing cruises and regattas during his engineering studies in Montpellier, alongside skilled and professional skippers.

Mylène has organized long weekends and vacations on sailboats or catamarans for over 15 years alongside Pierrick. Life on a boat revolves around onboard and onshore activities, as well as the daily meals, which are a highlight of the experience.

Safety on board during “Croisière Evasion” cruises

To ensure serene and safe catamaran cruises, Pierrick has earned the necessary “Captain 200” certification, qualifying him to skipper under current regulations. Mylène has completed maritime safety training to serve as stewardess / hostess aboard.
